Executive Board
The Executive Board consists of four positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. This board presides over the entirety of the cabinet and oversees day-to-day operations of the organization. Our focus as a board is to ensure our cabinet can provide our members with the best experience possible.
President
Hello everyone!
My name is Faith Lauren Castro (they/she) and I’m a 5th-year Biochemistry major, and part of Alaya Fam! I’m proud to serve as your President for the 2026-2027 academic year!
I joined Akbayan in Fall 2022 and was picked up by my Ate Jessey during KAAMP Mahika. Since then, I’ve been a Fam Rep and became a Cultural Director for PCN 36: This is Why and a Cultural Liaison for PCN 37: Para Sa’yo. My first PCN was PCN 35: Hiraya Manawari, served as PCN Coordinator during PCN 38 and POLARIS 49, and I’ve also participated in three Friendship Games! The reason I joined Akbayan was to meet new people and create lasting and meaningful connections with others like me. I’m so thankful for Akbayan for giving me my strongest support system and closest friends.
A fun fact about me is that I cosplay in my free time and the largest convention I’ve attended was Anime Expo in the Summer of 2025!

My name is Emily, I go by she/they pronouns, and I’m a 4th year microbiology major, chemistry minor!
I joined Akbayan in fall of 2023 during my first semester of college. Honestly, I joined to make friends and become more outgoing, so it’s safe to say that I achieved my goal… I was picked up by my Kuya Carlo into Luzonia fam :) !! I have four adings – Kris, Aldrake, Irah and Shawn. Love my line FR!!
A fun fact about me is that I enjoy dyeing my hair crazy colors (currently on a cleanse, I have black hair but that’ll probably change soon). I also have 3 dogs and a fish named Yogurt!

Hi Everyone!
I am Harry Pasion. I go by he/him pronouns and I am a fourth year Psychology major.
I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve as your Secretary for the 2026-2027 academic year! I joined Akbayan in Fall 2023 and was picked up by my Ate Faith during KAAMP Hero. Since that time, I participated in PCN 37: Para Sa’yo, served as a props apprentice for PCN 38: Pamana, and became an Amihan Intern. I joined Akbayan to meet new people and be a part of a community that I did not have when I was growing up. A fun fact about me is that I have a card collection that is exclusively of 90s NBA players.
