TRU

TRU was founded in Fall 2019 by three founders: Nikki Napolitano, Perla Hernandez, and Vinnoth Manikkavelu. TRU stands for ‘The Real Us’. Our logo consists of three stars and a crescent moon. The stars represent the three founders, and the moon symbolizes change and consistency. People change over time but remain themselves, similar to how the moon changes phases, it will always be the moon. You can usually find us repping blue and white for KAAMP events since it’s our fam colors. Our fam sign is to cross your fingers as if meaning ‘good luck’ or ‘hoping for the best.’ This is a promise to stay TRU to yourself and the fam!

Our three main values are Trust, Truth, and Confidence:

• Trust: trust the process, trust your fam, trust yourself and your capabilities

• Truth: we encourage honesty, authenticity, and being genuine with yourself and others

• Confidence: as a fam, we want to support you in becoming the best you possible and that you are as confident and happy as possible

We value spending time with one another where you can often see us together getting boba, food, attending events, playing games, or just hanging out. While our fam is still new and growing, we are always welcome to more members who want to be their TRU selves with us! (:
